Have fun, and please be kind to others
Southern Oregon has one of the largest concentrations of old growth trees in the country. The attempt here was to make a living out of the woods doing something that you love without having to harm the trees. Basically, trying to live in Harmony with the Forest. We are trying to accomplish a culture of sustainability while creating an economy for the community. This area is an old pioneering mining and logging community and we are trying to keep that spirit alive along with the trees and the wildlife.
Our Philosophy is the culture of sustainability and environmentalism. Instead of cutting a Tree down to get a sum of money – you use it for renewable sources of activities such as treehouses, ziplines, and scenic trails for the horses and rafters. Our international success along with the fact that we are currently the largest concentration of TreeHouses in the World, speaks for itself.
Along with Super Secret Band; We will have several Local Groups perform at this Festival – Hence LOCAL ROOTS!
1:00pm – 1:00am
We still have some of our Beautiful TREEHOUSES available for Sunday Night.

Michael E. Garnier was born in Gary Indiana in 1948 and is one of eight siblings. He attended Michigan State where he studied engineering but dropped out after he was unable to continue wrestling. He was then drafted and became a Special Forces medic with the Green Berets where he served until 1972.
Michael moved to Oregon in 1973 to be a Physician’s Assistant and helped open the Takilma Free Clinic. In 1975 he bought his property and eventually stopped working in medicine and started wood working.
Over the years he built pole furniture and Dr.Birch’s Yankee Doodle Picture Propellers until he built his first treehouse in 1990.
Over the last 25 years he has been a pioneer in the treehouse world, innovating and designing the Garnier Limb which has enabled him (and countless others) to build treehouses all over the world. His latest endeavor, The Treehouse Guys, began in 2013 and continues today.
