*CABINTREE
The two-story rustic cabin sleeps up to 5, has a queen bed upstairs, a double futon in the living room. It also has a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. Its pole-framed construction is touched off nicely by custom rock work behind the Franklin fireplace. It features a commanding view of a large meadow and a stand of old-growth forest. There is a treehouse just outside that kids of all ages can sleep in during the summer months. The cabin also has electric heat and is open all year.
*TREEZEBO
The Treezebo is our tallest treehouse at 37 feet. This gazebo in the trees
is not for the acrophobic! You must take the Mountain View Treeway to get
to the Treezebo. It sleeps up to 4, sports a queen-size bed and two singles
- toilet, sink, refrigerator, table and chairs. The 42-inch wooden walls have
canvas zip down roll ups as a full enclosure. It is heated and open from mid-March
through October. A bathhouse is located below.
*FORESTREE
Forestree, at 35 ft., is similar to the Treezebo, except the walls are solid
with opening windows. This unit is heated, has facilitrees and is open year round, sleeps up to 5.
*SERENDIPITREE
The Serendipitree took several years to figure out how to build so it could
fit two adults and two small children. The loft is all bed, longer than a
king and wider than a twin. The downstairs has a seating area that makes into
a bed that is about the size of a queen on one side, but not the other. It
has a fridge, is heated and rented all year.
